A. Yes.
Q. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM?
A. To promote the study of Torah and love for Eretz Yisroel.
Q. DOES THE $2,500 PRICE FOR THE 10 DAYS APPLY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR?
A. Our objective is to provide the JERUSALEM EXPLORER program in high season and low season. Accordingly, prices may vary.
Q. HOW ARE YOU ABLE TO PROVIDE THIS OPPORTUNITY, AT SUCH A LOW PRICE?
A. We are a non-profit organization. Additionally, the program is subsidized and we pass on group discounts.
Q. IF WE BOOK AS A GROUP, WILL WE QUALIFY FOR A DISCOUNT?
A. No. The program is already heavily subsidized and discounted.
Q. WILL MY AIR FLIGHT BE DIRECT?
A. Not always. Because of the discounted price, indirect flights are at times scheduled. Direct flights will always be available, by upgrading, at a small premium.
Q. DOES THE PROGRAM INCLUDE MEALS?
A. Only breakfast. Food is available from the large number of eateries in the area.
Q. WILL OUR SHABBOS MEALS BE CATERED?
A. No. By special arrangement, Shabbos hospitality will be coordinated with Rabbis and Friends of the Yeshiva.
Q. WHAT IS THE LEVEL OF ACCOMMODATION?
A. Between three and four stars. Upgrades are available.
Q. WHERE IS THE ACCOMMODATION LOCATED?
A. In apartments in the Old City of Jerusalem, or nearby.
Q. CAN I ARRANGE MY OWN ACCOMMODATION?
A. Yes. A discount will apply.
Q. WHAT IF THERE ARE NO FLIGHTS OR ACCOMMODATION AVAILABLE FOR THE DATES WE REQUEST?
A. In most cases we can upgrade you or provide alternative dates.
Q. I HAVE NEVER LEARNED IN YESHIVA. CAN I STILL ATTEND?.
A. Yes. We accept both experienced learners and newcomers.
Q. WHAT DOES THE LEARNING PROGRAM CONSIST OF?
A. There are several tracks. Mishnayos, Halacha, Gemara, Navi and the Beginners Program.
Q. DO I NEED TO COMMIT TO THE LEARNING PROGRAM FOR THE FULL DURATION?
A. To get the most of the program, yes. Participants are at liberty to take time out, as they require.
Q. IS THE PROGRAM RESTRICTED TO AMERICANS ONLY?
A. No. Pricing may vary, depending on location.
Q. CAN I COME FOR A LONGER OR SHORTER PERIOD?
A. Yes. Price adjustments will apply.
Q. AFTER MY BOOKING HAS BEEN CONFIRMED, CAN I CANCEL?
A. It will depend on the air carrier and terms with accommodation hosts. Generally there is a penalty and refunds can take between 15 days to 2 months.
Q. DOES THE JERUSALEM EXPLORER INCLUDE COST OF TRANSPORT TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT?
A. No.
Q. CAN I SPECIFY A CARRIER FOR MY FLIGHT TO ISRAEL OR MAKE THE BOOKING MYSELF?
