The first sounds of the shofar over Har Habayit, Jerusalem on the second day of Rosh Chodesh Elul, which marks the 40 days leading up to Rosh Hashana, culminating in Yom Kippur. This is the start of Elul zman, a period when Jews from around the world enter a period of introspection and increase their level of Torah study, in preparation for the forthcoming Yom HaDin.

The yeshiva takes opportunity of wishing Jews from across the globe, a Kasiva vaChasima Tova.
